Agents & humans

The Agents & humans collection gathers the reports that only Eureka can show.

Agents vs humans overview

Sessions by navigation mode (agent, human, mixed, bot), the share of sessions involving an agent, events by actor family over time, and every actor type with its users, sessions, page views, clicks, conversions and revenue.

Agent sessions

What agents do: the agents seen (Claude in Chrome, ChatGPT Agent, Perplexity Comet, Google Mariner, browser-use, scrapers…), their landing pages, their paths through pages and buttons, their conversions. Scrapers usually browse dozens of product pages fast and never buy; AI agents follow a task and often add to cart.

Mixed sessions

Sessions where a human and an agent took turns. The timeline shows each session's segments: human, then agent, sometimes human again, with what each one did (pages, clicks, form submissions, purchases). The handoff points chart shows where humans delegate and where they take back control. Typical pattern: the human chooses, the agent fills the cart and the shipping form, the human pays.

Agent vs human funnels

The purchase funnel broken down by actor family and by navigation mode. This is where agent friction shows up: a step that humans pass easily and agents fail at (a date or slot picker, a custom dropdown, a CAPTCHA, a pop-up). Fixing it makes your site easier for your customers' assistants. To build your own funnels with button steps, see Funnels.

Indexing bots — SEO & AI

Crawl activity by bot and by page: which pages Googlebot and Bingbot crawl and how often, which pages AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot…) collect, and which pages are never visited.

Requires a server-side connector

Most crawlers never run JavaScript, so the tag cannot see them. Install a server-side connector (Cloudflare Worker or log shipper) to fill these reports. Server-side bot tracking is part of the Pro and Scale plans.

Pages read by AI assistants

The pages fetched by AI assistants on behalf of a user (ChatGPT-User, Claude-User, Perplexity-User): these are the pages your prospects' questions are answered from. Buying guides, comparisons and FAQs usually come first. Combine it with the AI Assistants channel to see whether being read turns into visits.

Verified vs spoofed bots

Anyone can claim to be Googlebot. Eureka checks crawler claims against the IP ranges that Google, Bing, OpenAI, Perplexity and others publish. A "Googlebot" coming from a rented server is classified as an unidentified bot with the ua_spoof signal. This report compares verified and spoofed traffic per bot. Agents that sign their requests with Web Bot Auth (the Signature-Agent header, used by ChatGPT agent) are identified by name.

Detection quality

How each classification was made: the distribution of actor scores, the signals that triggered most often, and the share of agents identified by name versus by behaviour only. Use it to judge how confident you can be in the agent figures on your site.

Agents & humans, every visit counts!
